DIY Framed Music Lyrics
So I rent a condo in the heart of downtown Toronto. While I love my space (It's two floors, has floor to ceiling windows, and a cozy den) the fact that it's a rental makes decorating a bit of a challenge. For example, if I want to change the wall colours, I need to go through a lengthy approval process. This is why I try to add some personality to every space as much as I can, which was the inspiration behind this DIY project. I wanted to liven up my dresser, and as someone who is really into music, I wanted to find a way to incorporate this. Read on to learn about my most recent DIY project that was not only ridiculously easy and cheap to make. And in my opinion, the results look really fun!
-Craft card paper
1. As I mentioned, this project is extremely easy and can be done in a matter of minutes! The first thing you need to do is find the lyrics you like and then type them up. I choose a rustic old typewriter front.
2. Next, simply print the lyrics on the thick craft card paper. I purchased mine from Michaels.
3. Finally, frame the printed out text. When framing the lyrics, make sure that the glass in the frame is smudge/dust free. I also picked up my frames from Michaels.
4. And voila! You have a super simple yet fun way to add some personality to a space in your home.
